Terms of Service
Effective August 24, 2026 · Last updated August 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mosaic platform, websites, and related services (collectively, "Mosaic" or the "Service") operated by Mosaic Association Events LLC("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Mosaic, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About Mosaic
Mosaic is a professional networking platform built around professional association events, available to members across the country. Mosaic helps members discover, follow, and track events hosted by trade and professional associations, build and maintain their own professional relationship records, and — when members opt in — connect with other members attending the same events.
1a. Professional Networking Expectations
Members agree to use Mosaic as a professional networking environment. In particular, members agree:
- To provide accurate information on their profile.
- To upload only appropriate professional headshots.
- Not to impersonate another person or organization.
- Not to harass, spam, solicit excessively, or misuse member information.
- Not to scrape, harvest, or bulk-export member data.
- Not to use Mosaic for unsolicited marketing.
Members are responsible for their own profile content, their LinkedIn URL, and any information they choose to make public.
1b. Platform Independence
Mosaic Association Events is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any association, organization, or LinkedIn unless explicitly stated. All association and third-party names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Eligibility & User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Mosaic. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for safeguarding your login credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Membership Tiers
Mosaic offers three membership tiers:
- FREE — limited number of association follows and suggestions.
- PLUS — expanded follows, suggestions, and additional features.
- PRO — unlimited follows, suggestions, and full access to Mosaic features.
Current pricing, limits, and included features are displayed on the Mosaic membership page and may be updated from time to time. Material changes to a tier you are subscribed to will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect for your account.
4. Subscriptions, Billing & Stripe
Paid memberships are billed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the applicable subscription fees, taxes, and any other amounts due. Mosaic does not store your full credit card information; payment data is handled directly by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.
Subscriptions are available on monthly and annual billing cycles. Annual plans are billed up front for the year. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.
5. Promotional Codes & Trials
From time to time, Mosaic offers promotional codes, including the public launch code ONEPLACE (which currently provides a 7-day PRO trial) and other founder, partner, or seasonal codes. Promo codes are subject to the specific terms shown at the time of redemption.
Unless stated otherwise, promotional codes: (a) are non-transferable and have no cash value; (b) may be limited to one redemption per user or payment method; (c) may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time; and (d) require a valid payment method so the subscription can continue at the standard price after the promotional period ends, unless you cancel before that date.
6. Renewals & Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account billing page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period, and you will retain access to your paid tier until that date.
7. Refunds
Except where required by law, fees paid to Mosaic are non-refundable. We may, at our sole discretion, issue partial or full refunds in cases such as duplicate charges, billing errors, or other circumstances we determine warrant an adjustment. Refund requests can be made through the in-app support form.
8. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, attempt to harm other members or the platform, or for other lawful business reasons. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends, and certain provisions of these Terms (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Mosaic for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Scrape, copy, harvest, or redistribute Mosaic data or member data in bulk without permission.
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or membership restrictions.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or harmful.
- Impersonate another person, organization, or association.
- Harass, spam, solicit excessively, or misuse other members' information.
- Use Mosaic for unsolicited marketing.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or other members' use of it.
9a. Future Platform Features
Mosaic is evolving as a professional networking platform. These Terms are intended to cover current and future features including, without limitation, Professional Profiles, Organizations, Messaging, Connections, Business Cards, and other networking capabilities. New features will be governed by these Terms unless we specify otherwise at the time of release.
10. User-Generated Content
Mosaic lets you contribute content such as association suggestions, feedback submissions, support requests, profile information, headshots or profile images, sponsorship inquiries, and attendance selections ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Mosaic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and use it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We may remove or refuse content that violates these Terms or that we otherwise consider inappropriate.
11. Profile Information & Images
Profile fields such as full name, company, city, state, LinkedIn URL, and profile image are optional and controlled by you. You can update or remove them at any time from your account. Profile images must be your own likeness or a logo you have rights to use, and must not include offensive, infringing, or sexually explicit material.
12. Attendee Visibility & Community Features
Mosaic includes optional community features that show which Mosaic members are attending an event. Public attendee visibility is off by default. Only members who explicitly opt in will have their name and company shown to other Mosaic members in the attendee list for an event. Users who do not opt in remain private and are reflected only in an aggregate count (e.g., "X Mosaic private members"). Email addresses are never shown publicly.
12a. Professional Development & Attended Event History
Mosaic provides a Professional Development tracker and a permanent Attended Event History as personal record-keeping tools for members' organizational convenience. These features are optional, private by default, and controlled by each member.
Not an official record. Mosaic does not certify, verify, approve, validate, audit, or guarantee any continuing education credits, professional development hours, licenses, or professional certifications recorded through the Service. Any credit type, credit value, provider name, certification program, date, or note recorded in Mosaic is entered by the member and is for the member's personal reference only.
Member responsibility. Members are solely responsible for maintaining accurate records and for confirming official credit requirements, renewal deadlines, acceptable credit types, and reporting procedures directly with the issuing association, certification body, employer, licensing authority, or education provider. Official education records remain with those organizations, not with Mosaic.
Attended Event History. Events you mark Attended are retained on your Mosaic account as a permanent private history even after the underlying event leaves the public calendar. You may not be able to register or express interest in events that have already occurred; the Attended action remains available so you can maintain a complete personal history.
Optional public display. PRO members may choose to display their Professional Development credits on their public Professional Member Profile. Displaying credits publicly does not constitute verification by Mosaic. Members may turn this option off at any time.
12b. Relationship Tracker & Networking Impact
Relationship Tracker and Networking Impact are optional PRO features that let members privately record the people they meet through professional association events and view simple summaries of their own networking activity.
Private by design. Connection records are visible only to the member who created them and to Mosaic's operations team for support and maintenance. Mosaic does not display connections to other members, does not notify anyone that they have been added as a connection, and does not use connection records for matching, introductions, directories, advertising, or resale.
Member responsibility. Members are solely responsible for the information they enter about other people, including obtaining any consent required by applicable law, and for using that information lawfully and professionally. Mosaic does not verify the accuracy of connection details.
Not a CRM or sales tool. These features are personal record-keeping tools. They are not intended for sales pipelines, marketing lists, bulk outreach, or any use that would violate anti-spam or data protection laws.
Export and deletion. Members may export their own connection and networking data at any time and may delete individual records. Deleting your Mosaic account permanently deletes your connection records.
12c. User-Entered Relationship Content
You are responsible for everything you enter or confirm in the Relationship Tracker — contact details, multiple phone numbers, notes, follow-ups, interaction history, manually created records, and any scanner results you review and save. Mosaic provides the tools; it does not independently verify that the information you record about another person is accurate, current, or complete.
Relationship summaries such as first interaction, last interaction, interaction count, and related events or associations are calculated from the records you save. If your records are incomplete, those summaries will be too.
12d. Business Card Scanner
The Business Card Scanner is an optional PRO feature and an assistive transcription tool. You submit an image of a business card and Mosaic attempts to read the professional contact information printed on it.
No accuracy guarantee. Extraction may contain errors, omissions, misread text, incorrect phone labels, or incorrect formatting. Mosaic does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any scan result.
Your review is required. Extracted information is presented for your review before it is saved. You are responsible for checking and correcting it before saving or relying on it.
Appropriate images only. The scanner is intended for business cards you have legitimately received. Do not submit images containing unlawful, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content, or images of documents you do not have the right to use.
12e. Lawful & Professional Use of Contact Information
The Relationship Tracker, Business Card Scanner, and Event Networking Mode are intended for legitimate professional and business networking. You are responsible for ensuring that your collection, entry, storage, and use of another person's contact information is lawful and appropriate, including any consent or notice your jurisdiction requires.
You agree not to use these features to:
- Collect or obtain contact information unlawfully.
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk marketing.
- Store prohibited, illegal, or harmful content.
- Misuse, resell, or publicly expose another person's personal information.
- Operate deceptively, abusively, or in violation of anti-spam or data protection laws.
12f. Event Networking Mode & Check In
Mosaic offers event-related networking tools that make it easier to capture connections while an event is happening. Check In is an action you take yourself. Mosaic does not use GPS or device location to verify that you — or anyone else — is physically present at an event.
Mosaic does not guarantee that any particular person will attend an event, and does not confirm another person's attendance on your behalf.
12g. Automated & AI-Assisted Features
Certain Mosaic features use automated or AI-assisted processing, including third-party providers, to deliver the feature — for example, transcribing a business card image. Output from these features may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and is provided without warranty.
You should review any important information before relying on it, and you remain responsible for decisions you make based on it. Mosaic may change, add, or discontinue automated features and underlying providers over time.
13. Suggestions, Feedback & Support
Suggestions you submit (including association suggestions and product feedback) may be used by Mosaic without restriction or compensation to improve the Service. Support requests are handled by our team and may be stored for quality, training, and recordkeeping purposes.
14. Sponsorship Inquiries & Sponsor Listings
Sponsorship inquiries submitted through Mosaic are routed to our team for follow-up. Any future sponsor listings displayed on Mosaic are paid promotional placements. The inclusion of a sponsor does not constitute an endorsement of that sponsor's products, services, or organization by Mosaic.
15. Association Content & Third-Party Links
Association names, logos, event descriptions, websites, and registration links remain the property of their respective organizations. Mosaic provides aggregation and navigation services and does not claim ownership of third-party association content.
Mosaic contains links to third-party websites, including association websites, event registration pages, payment pages, and calendar integrations. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party site or service.
16. Event Information Disclaimer
Mosaic aggregates publicly available event information from association websites and other sources. While we make every reasonable effort to keep this information accurate and current, event details (including dates, times, locations, pricing, registration links, and cancellations) can change at any time.
You are responsible for verifying event details directly with the hosting association before registering or attending.Mosaic is not responsible for changes, errors, cancellations, or decisions made by third-party organizations.
17. Intellectual Property
The Mosaic name, the Mosaic logo, the platform's design, software, text, graphics, and other original content are owned by Mosaic Association Events LLC or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
18. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on Mosaic infringes your copyright, please contact us with: (a) a description of the work; (b) the location of the allegedly infringing material on Mosaic; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
19. Platform Availability
We work to keep Mosaic available, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always accessible, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
20. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mosaic disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Mosaic makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any event information, association content, or third-party material accessible through the Service.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mosaic Association Events LLC and its officers, members, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Mosaic in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.
22. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mosaic Association Events LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
23. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an in-app notice or email). Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.
